Located in the mountains just 11 miles north of the city of San Ramon, this 625 acre farm is ideal for a major tourism project, as well as division into smaller farms for resale. It will also serve for ornamental plant production, cattle, or dairy in the perfect climate for milk production. A bottled water business from the high flow spring water might also be feasible. The farm has two rivers with three high waterfalls and numerous fresh water springs. It is about half in forest, in preservation program with environmental payments, and half pasture at an altitude of 1,000 meters for a moderate cloud forest climate. There is an area of ornamental plants that the owner wants to retain, but about 200 hectares of nearby land also available at $6,000 per hectare. Public road frontage which makes for easy subdivision with all utilities, with the area for tourism near the waterfalls at the end of the road. Although the road is public it is presently impassible in vehicle. Electric and phone service are close by on the main highway that goes from San Ramon north to Arenal Volcano.

The property as a whole is more than 500 hectares and the owner wants to sell half and is open to sale of up to 450 hectares, 1125 acres. The $6,000 per hectare cost is well below prevailing market price for land in this area.

En las montañas a 6km nortes de la ciudad de San Ramón, este 250+ finca es ideal para un proyecto grande de eco-turismo, segregación en fincas más chicas para la re-venta, la producción de plantas ornamentales, ganado, o una lechería, como tiene el clima y terreno perfecto para todas esas actividades. Una operación de agua embotellada puede ser posible también, ya que cuenta con numerosos nacientes. Casi la mitad del terreno es en bosque, bajo un programa pagado para la conservación del ambiente, y la otra mitad es en pasto, a una altura de 1,000 metros haciendo el clima tipo bosque nuboso moderado. El dueño va a mantener parte de esa finca para sembrar plantas ornamentales. También hay unas 200 hectáreas al lado a $6,000 la hectárea.
